About the wine

A dry white wine that reveals pleasant pineapple and fruit salad flavours, with some delightful citrus notes and charms of dried apples and musk.  Well balanced with quinsy, fresh, zesty finish.

Blend Information: 100% Chenin Blanc

Food Suggestions:  Serve with rich seafood dishes such as seared Tuna with balsamic reduction, flame grilled line fish with lemon butter and grilled vegetable or mussels in a creamy white wine sauce, or with quiche, Thai foods or pasta salad.

Winemaking process

Harvested early morning. Skin contact only during separation from skins. Settling of juice overnight in wine tanks.  Juice removed from lees after settling. Juice taken to fermentation tanks to be inoculated with wine yeast for fermentation.  Cold fermentation for 2-3 weeks at 12-14 degrees Celsius.

Cellaring

Serve at 10 – 12 degrees Celsius, Store 16 degrees Celsius – 3 years
