Cape Point Vineyards is uniquely located in the Cape Peninsula, where it is set rather majestically against the slopes of the famous Chapman’s Peak mountain range and overlooks the nearby Atlantic Ocean – a mere 1,2km’s away.
Cool sea breezes along with ancient mountain soils make for a unique terroir with a late growing season that results in a world class Sauvignon Blanc with minerals tones and great complexity.

A distinctly Cape Townian Rose: The nose shows a delicate synergy between strawberry flavoured candy, ripe peaches, and subtle rose petal, with a playful palate showing elegant tones of vanilla, laced with candy floss and red liquorice. A refreshing and fruity wine with a lively fresh finish. 100% Merlot.
Matched perfectly with Salmon, Trout and Crayfish, plainly served, chunky Bouillabaisse or any delicious Al Fresco Picnic.

Winemaking process
Grapes were picked by hand. Grapes were destemmed, pressed and settled over 24 hours. Inoculated ferment between 12-16C and 4 months on Stainless steel.
